Dr. Velazquez is a licensed clinical psychologist in Santa Fe, NM. She holds a master’s degree in Exercise Science as well as a doctorate in Clinical Psychology. She has been published in both fields, has extensive training in psychoanalysis, and provides supervision for therapists. As a relational analyst, Dr. Velazquez believes strongly that attunement, responsiveness, and the integration of affect is at the core of human development. She has a passion for the development of self-awareness and in helping individuals and companies to create healthy patterns of communication. Informing her practice is extensive research regarding the factors that promote women’s success, as well as mentoring, and the recovery from trauma. Dr. Velazquez was born in Argentina and brings a strong multicultural perspective based on living at the intersection of multiple cultures and languages. Her life experience has shown her the power of human resilience, emotional intelligence, and the mentoring of women on the path to personal and professional fulfillment. She maintains a private practice in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Sandra Kiersky is a faculty member and supervisor at the Institute for the Psychoanalytic Study of Subjectivity in New York City. She is a past president of the Association for Autonomous Psychoanalytic Institutes and on the Editorial Board of Studies in Gender and Sexuality.; Co-Editor and contributor to Sexualities Lost and Found, International Universities Press and Co-Chair of the American Psychological Association, division of Psychoanalysis, Spring Conference in 2012. She has published extensively in journals and book chapters on empathy, women’s studies, human development, sexuality and therapeutic technique and taught at New York University, the National Institute for the Psychotherapies and Pace University, all in New York City. She maintains a private practice in Santa Fe and New York.

Donna M. Socha is a mental health counselor here in Santa Fe. She holds a Master's degree in Human Development and Education from Boston University and a second Master's degree in Expressive Arts Therapy and Mental Health Counseling from Lesley University. Ms. Socha’s work has focused on adolescent and adult development and uses creative expression as a coping mechanism for trauma, to foster self-awareness and support personal growth. Ms. Socha has provided counseling in a variety of settings including residential schools, a college counseling center, a partial-hospitalization treatment program, and an out-patient community health center. Part of being an arts-based therapist, I work in my art studio using collage, photography, encaustic and assemblage to explore metaphor and personal narratives.

Kimberly Walker is a licensed clinical social worker. She has worked as a social worker for over 10 years and has experience working with pregnant and parenting youth, in the field of adoption and foster care, as a medical social worker where she provided crisis intervention, and she has worked as a Program Manager for Big Brothers Big Sisters where she worked with children and families. Kimberly earned her clinical license in 2022. She utilizes a psychoanalytical approach to help patients work through feelings of depression, anxiety, and past trauma. She aims to help her patients understand the origins of these feelings as a means of empowering them. She is currently accepting new patients both virtually and in-person at our Santa Fe office.
